Yesterday's honors go to Clive Owen, who turned up to the premiere of his flick Blood Ties looking like the movie star he is. Looking this sharp, and black tie appropriate, is something we take for granted when gents like Owen, or Colin Firth, or even J.T., arrive at these types of events channeling old school film style without looking, well, just old. That trim fitting tux certainly helps, but as integral as the clothes is Owen's internal swagger that makes facing thousands of paps look like a stroll down some city street.

Every summer it's the same thing: you take your go-to pair of leather kicks, start rocking 'em sockless, and two months in--once those humid August days are here to stay--you're left with one rank pair of shoes that swiftly wind up in the garbage. Canvas is the way to go in warmer weather and TOMS, a brand that's made a business out of offering the material in their classic slip-ons, is now offering it up in a lace-up called the Paseo. The fabric makes the shoes lightweight, while a rubber sole ensure comfort on most any terrain, be it beach-side boardwalk or city sidewalk. To help welcome the silhouette to the one-for-one brand's family, the company enlisted the help of a rugged cowboy (after the jump) to prove the shoes' (almost) ultimate versatility this time of year...

"You reach for everything lightweight in the summer months, so why not do the same when it comes to your duffel bag? Gucci knows a thing to two about crafting beautiful accessories and this bag asserts the status quo, made from sturdy cotton canvas that can easily hold up to all your trips to the beach and back." --Jim Moore, GQ creative director

"You can't study comedy; it's within you. It's a personality. My humor is an attitude."
